Cookie policy

The short version

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. We use two analytics tools: Vercel Analytics, which sets no cookies, and Google Analytics, which sets cookies only if you accept them in the banner. You can change that choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. The booking widget on our discovery call page may also set its own cookies, and only if you use it.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They are used to make a site work, to remember choices you have made, and in some cases to measure how a site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels do comparable jobs, and this policy covers them too.

What we use

Strictly necessary

A small number of cookies and equivalent storage may be set by our hosting provider, Vercel, to serve and secure the site, for example to route requests correctly or to protect against abuse. These are required for the website to function and cannot be turned off through a preference setting.

Analytics without cookies

We use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people arrive. It is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not set cookies, does not store an identifier on your device, and reports data in aggregate. It cannot identify you individually or follow you across other websites.

Analytics with your consent: Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, where visitors come from, and whether the site is working, for example how many people go on to book a call. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*, lasting up to two years) that give your browser a random identifier so that repeat visits can be counted. These are set only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, Google Analytics runs in a mode that sets no cookies and stores no identifier, and only aggregate, non-identifying signals are sent. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the name aiedge-cookie-consent, which is strictly necessary storage and holds nothing but the word granted or denied.

Google processes this data under its own terms. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We have not enabled advertising features or Google Signals, and we do not share this data with Google Ads.

Third-party booking widget

Our discovery call page embeds a booking calendar provided by GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). If you load or use that page, GoHighLevel may set its own cookies or equivalent storage to operate the booking process. Those cookies are controlled by GoHighLevel under its own privacy notice, not by us. If you would rather not load it, you can email us at incoming@theaiedge.co.uk and we will arrange a time by email instead.

What we do not use

• Advertising or retargeting cookies.
• Social media tracking pixels.
• Cross-site profiling of any kind.

How to control cookies

To change your analytics choice on this site, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. The banner reappears and you can accept or reject again.

Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored on your device, delete them, and block them, either entirely or for particular sites. The controls sit in your browser's privacy or security settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or other websites working properly.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything else that sets cookies for analytics or marketing, we will update this page and ask for consent before those cookies are set. The date at the top shows when this policy was last changed.
